Jose is the guy to go to for your remodel. He is professional. He listens to what you want and then get right to work to make it happen. I worked with him prior for my kitchen renovation and when I was ready for my next project I immediately called him. He was available to answer all my questions and concerns. He explained everything in detail and made me feel very good about the choices I'd made. He is honest and trustworthy. We absolutely LOVE our new kitchen! We are so grateful for the work that this crew did to our home. They made sure that they talked to us about anything we didn't like, any additions that we would want to add, and everything that concerns this renovation project. Both Eduardo and Jose were really great in communicating with us via email or text messages and phone calls. Their crew is always on time, very respectful hard-working people. We've never felt uncomfortable being around them. Our specifications on certain things and materials were followed to how we wanted it. The was contract clear and always current and updated. Eduardo made sure that he visits the site regularly, Jose made sure that everything that was discussed is documented and followed. We had a great experience and we would recommend them 100%.

This review has been a long time coming. They worked on my home back in April I believe. My home was built in 1913. I contracted them to gut and completely redo all my closets (3 total) an upstairs room, and our entire stairway. They did exactly as I asked them in a timely manner and were super responsive. My only mistake (my bad) was that I wasn't clear and specific on the finishing touches so they had to redo a few things. But that was on me and they were gracious enough to come back and fix it for me. I highly recommend them and if I were to do anything different, I would be more specific and clear about what I wanted. They were great to work with, down to earth. The before and after is amazing. A few family members commented on the work done and said they did a great job. Even another contractor for another job commented on the great job MR Design and Build did!

Great experience with this company building an ADU in our backyard. We had Alexis and Lesly helping us out along the way, who were very helpful in explains all parts of the process and answering any questions we had. Another aspect we appreciated was meeting with the owners at the end who wanted a detailed in person review of their performance.

We have been working with this awesome team for over a year now. We first did a garage remodel that turned out amazing, and now we are halfway through a 500 square feet room addition. How soon can you start on my project?

The start date for your project depends on a few factors, such as the size and complexity of the work, and whether you have approved plans in place.

If you have approved plans: If you have detailed and approved blueprints or plans, we can typically start the project within 1 weeks of receiving a signed contract and deposit. For smaller projects, we may even be able to begin sooner.
If you need plans: If you don’t yet have plans, we’ll help guide you through the process of designing and finalizing your layout. Depending on how long it takes to finalize a design you’re happy with, the process to getting your plans approved this process can take anywhere from 20 to 24 weeks. Once plans are approved, we can begin construction.
We understand that the design process is collaborative, and we’ll work closely with you to make sure your layout is perfect before we proceed.

Larger or more complex projects may require additional time to schedule, but we’ll always provide you with a clear, customized timeline based on your needs.
